Our Mission

Fight Another Day is dedicated to bringing mental health resources such as crisis information and speakers to schools across Texas. Together we can make the mental health stigma fade away, so kids will choose to fight another day.

About Us

Fight Another Day is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2022. This organization is built on dedicated volunteers who are passionate about ending the mental health stigma. Our goal is to empower teens and young adults with hope and wisdom, so they will choose to fight another day. To accomplish our goal, Fight Another Day provides schools with speakers such as mental health advocates, counselors, and psychiatrists as well as crisis information.

The Team

Megan Moore - Founder / President

I founded Fight Another Day to end the mental health stigma one kid at a time. It is important for every kid to know they are not alone in the times of their struggles. I want to help kids get past the hardest step, asking for help. Together we can make the mental health stigma fade away, so kids will choose to "fight another day."

I am a licensed professional counselor, LPC. Being a mental health professional I usually only have the chance to help others when they have taken a chance and have come to therapy. I embraced the opportunity to join as a board member for Fight Another Day to help encourage more people to help them help themselves; to break down negative ideas about mental health and seek therapy.

As a nurse, I see people of all different ages struggle with mental health and the damaging effects it has on their daily lives. I want to bring awareness to this issue, help people build a better understanding of it, and provide resources on how to conquer it! There is light at the end of the tunnel!

Amanda Bowman, M.A. - Director

As the mother of a daughter about to enter adolescence and as a lecturer at Texas Tech, I see firsthand how mental health affects our kids. I joined Fight Another Day to help my daughter and my students receive any resources they may need so they can see their value, their worth, and how much they are loved so they choose to live and fight another day.

I have always loved teens. Having worked for many years a Licensed Counselor before retirement, I know that mental health education and early prevention are powerful and can change lives.

I feel strongly about advocating for those who suffer from mental health issues and believe that there is hope for the hurting.
